It comes with an integrated, airbag like user configurable motion sensor to constantly monitor your notebook for crashes, it can also temporarily stop the hard drive when an impact or any accident event is detected.
Thinkpad Hard Drive Shock Absorber uses rubber rails and metal plates to provide rock solid impact protection.
Connectivity Feature
Lenovo Thinkpad X series notebooks comes with six in-built connectors: Wi-Fi, WWAN, Bluetooth, Ethernet, 56k modem and infrared port. High Speed Gigabit Ethernet connectivity is also featured on select models.
The UltraConnect II antenna is built into the display cover for optimal signal reception, this helps to maximize wireless lan coverage and performance.
Battery Life
Lenovo Thinkpad X series comes with battery life of upto 10 hours or more equipped with 8 cell system battery plus an optional extended battery, which can be attached via the docking connector.
BatteryStretch, is a new feature in Power Manager, by which you can temporary select an extra ordinary situation to extend the battery power beyond your regular battery time.
